Bjornson Golf Trotters Moving on Up

With the warm weather right around the corner, the course conditions are starting to make the golf more challenging....but not for these thursday night guys. We saw the Bjornson Golf Trotters take first place this week to bump them up to 2nd place in the standings, tied with Fairway to Heaven at 110 points. But the Sultans of Swing are still holding the overall first place spot with the help of Jay Huehn, who is currently leading the Cochrane Golf Rankings right now!

Aside from the common complaint of not being able to putt, the scores have been slowly getting better each week. But that means that the expectations are rising and that only leads to trouble. Low gross was 36 this week by Jay Huehn and low net was a 32 by Rob Hay. Each winner was awarded a gift card to Rockyview brewing company. A local brewery that I highly recommend to try out as the food and drinks are top notch!

Our weekly proxies, sponsored by Cochrane Toyota, saw some great shots close to the flag. With an eagle on number 6 to win KP (second place had a good shot in there as well...). A couple good KP on the par 3s, but with some questionable putts as a result. But that is ok as Deuce Pot saw 4 winners take home $75 each.
