Week 11

Week 11 Recap: Back-9 Battles & The Great "18th" Hole Finish! ⛳🌅

Week 11 was one for the books! We switched things up with a Back 9 start, bringing the entire league together for a epic, high-energy group finish right on the "18th hole". A completely unpredictable gust of wind was seen lauching golf balls down the fairway at some innocent youth. I have received reports that the victim will make a full recovery; however, the culprit is still at large! ( I have my suspicsions ) hehehe.

The back nine brought out some phenomenal scoring, though not without a little friendly controversy:

-
🥈 Low Net Team: Huge congrats to Laure's Squad! They took home top net score honors. New Boot Goofin' out the door with, Adidas Shoes & Hats.

-
🥇 Low Gross Combo Winners:Terry Soucy & Allan Haigh teamed up (spiritually, at least) to take home matching Adidas Polos for the lowest gross combo score!

(Word on the street is Allan was actually beating Terry... but since Allan didn't complete all 18 holes, Terry's record remains technically intact. We’re throwing a giant asterisk on that one, Allan! 😉)

Proxy Precision

Our skill hole winners dialed it in on the back nine to lock up some great swag:

-
🏌️‍♂️ Long Putt (#11):Jay Atkinson showed off pure touch, sinking a total bomb on eleven.

-
💈 KP Barber Pole (#14): Shoutout to league newcomer Chris, who made an immediate statement by taking home the Barber Pole proxy! Welcome to the league!

-
🎯 Closest to the Pin (#16):Jeremy Mount hit an absolute dart on sixteen to add another proxy win to his season tally.

The 19th Hole Spin Wheel 🎡👕

After the final cards were turned in on 18, the patio was buzzing for the spin wheel. Taking home the main event prize of the night was Mack Tivendale, who spun his way into a sharp Gleneagles Logo QZip and a matching Adidas Golf Towel.

See You Next Week!

As always, a giant thank you to our premier league sponsor, BRIX Real Estate Group, for making these Tuesday nights at Gleneagles so legendary.

The season is hitting its home stretch, the rivalries are friendly (mostly!), and the putts are dropping. Practice those irons, keep Allan's scorecards audited, and we’ll see you all next Tuesday!
