Week 8

Week 8 Recap:

Week 8 of the Gleneagles Duos League is in the books. We debuted a brand-new prize category this week, the pins were getting absolutely abused, and the prize table was loaded with premium Adidas gear.

Here is how all the action unfolded out on the course and back at the 19th hole!

Team Low Net Debut

For the very first time this season, we introduced Team Low Net prizing, giving duos the chance to combine their powers and conquer the leaderboard together.

Taking home the inaugural crown after a spectacular collaborative effort was none other than team "Joe & Schmo"! For their baseline-burning efforts, they’ll be looking extra stylish on the fairways next week rocking their brand-new Adidas Bucket Hats.

Throwing Darts & Sinking Bombs 🎯

The skill holes were under absolute assault on Tuesday evening as players dialled in their distances:

-
KP #3:Jeremy Mount stuck it close to secure the closest-to-the-pin prize.

-
KP #5:Sheena Linderman threw a dart and claimed the victroy. Rumor has it her shot on #8 was even closer !

-
Long Putt #7: He’s back in the headlines! Dave Lamb showed off his touch on the greens, rolling in a 30' bomb ( I paced it off ) for the longest putt of the night.

All three of our skill winners walked away with a sharp new Adidas Polo to add to the wardrobe rotation!

The Big Individual Winners

When it came to the overall individual leaderboard and the luck of the draw, two guys walked away with some major footwear upgrades:

-
Individual Low Gross:David Rogers Had a day out there! shooting the lights out to win a fresh pair of Adidas S2G Shoes.

-
19th Hole Spin Winner: The suspense was high, the wheel was spun, and the winner was... Rob Jackson! Rob is officially "new boot goofin'" after spinning his way into a premium pair of Adidas Code Chaos Shoes.

Next Week

Reminder we have adjusted tee times for the 14th. Don't worry I wont adjust the fun.

The gear is fresh, the putts are dropping, and the summer is flying by. Clean those spikes, lock in your targets, and we'll see you all next Tuesday for Week 9!
